macpass price goes up tomorrow and I still didn't get it yet

to fellow firstyears did you all buy one already?

I bought one. In the end I'd rather gamble $125 for an amazing experience. I'll earn that $125 back fast enough later in life.

Macpass is well worth it, lots of fun activities and events exclusive to macpass students!

There should be a tent in the middle of campus that will be selling MacPasses. I believe they accept debit and maybe credit.

Also, don't lose your receipt!

I'm lazy and moderately anti-social, if I think getting a MacPass is worth it, you'll probably think it's worth it. There's almost nothing to do in the first week of school without it and you'll feel horribly left out.

$125 is less than what most of your textbooks cost >_<

If you have received a notice that says "McMaster Package"- This means we have sold out of this Faculty/Residence t-shirts . You will receive a McMaster University shirt from Titles Bookstore instead of the Faculty/Residence shirt .

does this mean that I wount get the faculty/rez t shirts?

It only says you won't get the faculty/res tshirts if you've received a notice that says "McMaster Package"...did you get one of these notices?

I just got scared after seeing that cuz what's the point of getting macpass if you dont get your rez/faculty t shirts

You should still be good for the t-shirt though.

The reason they have these is because they only order a certain amount which is a certain number more than the orders received during early bird. That's why everyone always tells you to buy it early, not only because it's cheaper but because they have to plan according. It's not fair for students who bought their macpasses early to not get a t-shirt which those who buy it last minute do.

This is so much better than in my year. A lot of students that moved-in on the second day didn't get t-shirts.
