Made By Mac Creative Challenge
MacMicro is looking for McMaster's most creative and talented students for the
Made by Mac Creative Challenge, sponsored by Titles Bookstore.
Beginning Thursday,
January 1, 2009 MacMicro will be accepting original pieces of digital art, podcasts, websites, great pieces of writing and anything else you can make on a Macintosh computer.
Students will then have the opportunity to vote on-line to determine the five semi-finalists who will go head-to-head in front of a live panel of judges, with the grand prize of a brand new
2.0 GHz Apple MacBook on the line.
The first runner up will be awarded a
Nintendo DS Lite game console, and the second runner up will receive a
$50 gift card for Titles Bookstore.
As an added bonus, students who incorporate any of the digital materials found on the Library's
Peace and War in the 20th Century web site will be eligible for an
iPod Touch.
On-line voting opens January 26 and the live finale is scheduled to be held on February 11, so make it cool, make it creative and make it on a Mac!
