I was wondering if there were makeup final exams for every course offered here at Mac. The course outline offers information on MSAF but nothing regards to a makeup final in the case of a medical emergency. Also, can a professor reject to give a makeup exam even if it gets approved by the registrar? And who marks the makeup exams?

As long as you have a valid excuse with a supporting document you don't have to worry about it.

I assume by "make-up exam" you're referring to the deferred exams?

It isn't an option for the prof to have a deferred exam; if there are students who got an approved deferral then they need to have the opportunity to take the exam. However, the format doesn't have to be the same as the one you missed (eg, it could be an oral exam rather than written).

It would probably be marked by a TA, or occasionally the prof themselves.
