[MAS] McMaster Alzheimer's Society First General Meeting Thursday September 19th
Hey Everyone!

McMaster Alzheimer's Society is having our FIRST GENERAL MEETING THIS THURSDAY in MUSC 207 and 206 at 5:30 PM. Come see what we are going to be running this year and what we have in store for our members! Come on out and see how you can get involved .

What is the McMaster Alzheimer's Society?

The McMaster Alzheimer’s Society is an organization dedicated towards educating, fundraising, and promoting awareness towards Alzheimer’s, a debilitating disease that reduces the quality of life. Due to the increasing prevalence of Alzheimer’s in Canada’s aging population, education is an important role. Our club also raises funds for the Alzheimer’s Society of Hamilton and Halton. This provides supports programs and educational resources for patients and their families to help alleviate social consequences of the disease. Our organization fundraises for the Alzheimer’s Society each year in order to cover their operating budget each year, and through promoting their events within the McMaster community, our club can help them reach their fundraising goals. Finally, we are able to make a positive impact on the McMaster Student Body by providing students opportunities to facilitate self-growth, understanding of the disease, and the chance to make a difference in people’s lives.
