MATH 1B03 and MATH 1C03; courses and professors
Math courses:
MATH 1B03 LINEAR ALGEBRA I
MATH 1C03 INTRODUCTION TO MATHEMATICAL REASONING

Can someone explain to me what these math courses are and what I will be learning? How hard are the tests and exams? Are there any big assignments to do in these courses, if so, what are they?

Will I be learning everything only about vectors in linear algebra? Is "introduction to mathematical reasoning" basic stuff?

Which of the two math courses is harder?

Also, are Lozinski and Harada good teachers in general? Do they base their tests/quizzes/exams on the notes they give? Do they give good notes or do students need to teach themselves in order to do well in their classes? Do they mark "fairly"?

Anything else you'd like to comment on the courses or professors, feel free to do so!

Math 1B03:

You'll be learning about matrixes, vectors, determinants, vector spaces and related topics. This isn't a very hard course as long as you keep up, Vector spaces is probably the hardest of the topics, but only because it's new material. If you plan to take 2R03, take note, because this will turn out to be essential to all higher level linear algebra courses.

Math 1C03:
I havn't personally taken it, but I know people who have. You will be learning about a lot of different things like logic, set theory, and the millenium problems. You will see presentations on each millenium problem from a different prof, and you will also have to choose a book and do a presentation on it.
I had Harada for 2R03 this past year, she is a good prof, and I think everyone really liked her. She's very approachable.
