Are you going into Math? Do you enjoy math?
If you answered no to both of those, take 1LS3, if you answered yes to either, you might enjoy/need 1A03.

well...make sure the classes that you're intending on taking in the future dont require math 1a03 or 1aa3.. if they do, make sure you get at least a B- in ls3 so you can take 1aa3.

now that math 1LT3 exists this isn't as much of an issue.

I agree. Especially since it's geared towards Life Science and not just general 'Science.' I wonder how the course will be like though =/.

Personally, I found 1LS3 useless. I really regret taking it, because I didn't learn a thing. It's not 'geared towards life sciences', it's just dumbed down--a complete waste of money. I learned much more applicable things from 1AA3--compared to learning absolutely nothing at all in 1LS3.

It's a new course. I believe it'll first be offered in the winter session so no one knows much about it yet.

Take 1LS3. i hear its alot easier and not as in depth
I took 1A03 last year and parts of the course I found very hard, my buddies on the floor in Life Sci had took 1LS3 and they didn't do hardly as much as we did in 1A03.

I don't know what Math 1LT3 will be like, other than giving you an option to fill prereqs for courses requiring two semesters of calc while not jumping from Math 1LS3 to Math 1AA3.

if you are thinking of taking 1aa3, I highly suggest 1a03. It provides a bit of a challenge than previous years and gives you a good work ethic.
I never took 1LS3 so I can't comment on it, but imo, the applications kinda annoyed people.

I'd definitely advice 1LS3
unless you're going into physics
but if you're going into bio, chem, science... take 1LS3
