Math 1M03 or 1A03?
is 1M03 a review of Grade 12 Calculus? im currently mulling whether i should take Math 1M03 or 1A03? I'm a commerce student, so we are allowed to take either 1M03 or 1A03. i did look at the reviews for both courses. which is easier? any opinions? thanks

You'll review stuff the first few lecture but other than that no.

From what I heard 1A03 is more theory-based

Also 1A03 is recommended for those interested in a math minor.
B- in 1M03 is equivalent to a 1A03 credit, so I would assume 1M03 is the easier one...

I was in math 1X03, which is basically the equivalent to math 1A03. my roommate had math 1M03. math 1A03 is in the first semester, and math 1M03 is second semester. they will both go over derivatives and things youve learned in grade 12 calculus. math 1A03 touches slightly on integration at the end of the course, while math 1M03 will focus a bit more on integration throughout. as well, in math 1M03 you will learn about multivariable calculus, while in math 1A03 you do not. taking math 1A03 and then math 1AA3 is definitely harder but more interesting if that's what you are going for
