If you don't *need* math for anything outside of a 3 unit math requirement, take Math 1LS3. 80% of it is review from high-school. You don't even get to integration until the last 2 weeks of class in the term. I can't speak for 1M03, but 1LS3 was also very forgiving with marks. In 2009 at least, you could weigh your exam at 90% of your term mark; if you bomb your midterms you can still get a 12 in the class as long as you learn everything by the end of the term.
Also, Dr. Lovric is a great math prof, so another plus for 1LS3.
