Math 1M03 or 1LS3?
I can choose either of these courses first year to fill the calculus requirement for second year admittance into psychology neuroscience & behaviour. I was wondering if one is easier than the other?
any advice regarding these two courses would be much appreciated!

If you don't *need* math for anything outside of a 3 unit math requirement, take Math 1LS3. 80% of it is review from high-school. You don't even get to integration until the last 2 weeks of class in the term. I can't speak for 1M03, but 1LS3 was also very forgiving with marks. In 2009 at least, you could weigh your exam at 90% of your term mark; if you bomb your midterms you can still get a 12 in the class as long as you learn everything by the end of the term.

Also, Dr. Lovric is a great math prof, so another plus for 1LS3.

Are you planning on completing a BA or BSc?
If you plan on completing a BA then 1M03 will suffice and it's easier. If however you think you may change your mind from a BA to BSc at any time then complete 1LS3.
