Math 1M03 Tutorials
Hello, for Math 1M03, do we need to be in the same tutorial as our instructor? For example, I'm in Dr. Moore's class, but I'm not in his tutorial. Is that fine?
Also, for anyone that has had Dr. Moore, is he a good professor?
Thank you!

I was wondering the same thing, actually.
I think it'd be best to have the tutorial with teh same prof.
I also have Dr. Moore for tutorial and lecture, though I'm not sure if you HAVE to have the same prof for both.
Just noticed your edit now, lol.
I've had him this term for 1K, and he likes to go through everything very slowly.
In my opinion, he's a good prof, but he often likes to go off topic and talk about whatever it is for quite a bit. =/
He's old (looks like Santa ) but he knows his stuff. xD
If you're an impatient person, I wouldn't suggest taking class with him, you'll easily get frustrated and be tempted to leave.
At times, we'd spend an entire lecture going over just two questions. O_O
His voice is pretty monotone and he speaks VERY slowly, but I don't mind him.
He likes to go through everything, which is really good when you're as clueless as I am when it comes to calc. D:
But that's just me. I know a couple other people that ADORE him, and some that just can't stand him. =/
I guess you'd have to see for yourself.

Yeah, I don't want to be in his tutorial if I don't have to be. I don't want to be stuck in class at 2:30pm on a Friday lol...

Nope, you don't need to be in the same tutorial as your instructor. For Math 1M03, you'll be doing online assignments, and all your marks will be online. To be honest, I don't even remember going to a tutorial for that class...
As for Dr. Moore, read Monica's post.

You're in Moore's class too Matt? Awesome I talked to Dr. Moore on the last day of 1K03 about the whole 1M03 tutorial thing, and he said it didn't matter what tutorial you were in. I'm pretty sure he'll talk about tutorials on the first day of class.
I don't know why, but I'm pretty excited for this course (I'm actually starting to like math lol). The course website is already out:

McLean... AWESOME professor. I had him for Math 1F03 in term 1. His tutorial is full, and I'm trying to get into it lol. I would have switched to his core, but I don't like his timings.
