Math 2C03 equivalent to MATH 2Z03?
hey guys,

I failed MATH 2Z03 and was planning to take it this summer but the course is full. Does any one know if MATH 2C03 can be taken instead of MATH 2Z03 since its still available and is an anti-requisite of MATH 2Z03?

Thanks

From my experience with the faculty of Commerce and it's Econ 2X03 requirement (the anti-req for this course is Econ 2G03), I had to take Econ 2X03 due to seating requirements.

Going onto your case, I'm gonna assume that although those two math courses are anti-reqs, you can't take 2C03 because you are in Engineering, and engineers must take the courses assigned to them, unless there are exceptions.

Although I could be wrong, it doesn't hurt to check with your faculty's academic adviser, even though you won't get a reply till the end of the month

Math 2z03 is a required course, just email the instructor of the course and hopefully they will get you in it. If not, tell them that you wanna take 2c03 and see what they say.

If it is full email the prof they have to let you in. Regardless I don't think you can substitute unless it is a math course approved equivalent @ another university.

Talk to an adviser, they might just let you substitute the two of them (though they don't have to).
