math 2x03 exam
did anyone else find it really hard? at least a pretty big jump from the midterms.

I found it extremely easy and straightforward, what questions did you find difficult?

Yeah it was very straight forward, everything straight from lectures. Maybe the short questions (multiple choice) a bit confusing but they don't worth as much.

there was one asking if a function h was constant, increasing or dec, i found that one tough, also i struggled with a part of 4... i can't seem to remember what it was about.... it might have been part c) of the one where you had to find the curl and div

Well if those were the only two things you were confused about, I wouldn't worry. I did not know part (c) either, had to come up with the answer on the spot.

I don't think anyone knew part c for that question.
EDIT: Same problems as you. I found there was a jump from the midterms...at least in the theory portion.

yea, i might have actually done well but since it was so long i spent a looong time on the questions i couldn't do (and still prob didn't get in the end) so i left with a bad feeling in the end.
btw do you guys remember what you got for the limit?

Part C was a random theorem that says if Div F = 0, then G exists for F=grad G. I totally forgot about it because it was so random.

I got 0. Hbu?
Delta=eps/2 or 2/epsilon, something like that.

Only thing that confused me a little was the extrema crit points, but I don't remember them.
... also, def not looking forwards to 2R03.

i think i got (0,0,0), (1,-1,0) and (-1,1,0) for the CTs , two mins, one saddle if i remember correctly
