I am currently doing an online math course and it deals with Complex Variables.
For those in b.tech its Math 3.
I completed Math 4 but still need to make up math 3 and I just can't seem to wrap my head around it.
Anyone care to help tutor?
I am willing to pay, I contacted a few tutors but not many people seem comfortable with this.
I am currently going to try going to the Math Centre, but would much rather have to deal with the same person.
Thanks
Rioch

This guy Mowicz (Mike Parchimowicz) was the go-to guy on macinsiders for math help...he graduated from his masters though, so I don't know if he's still around.
Maybe check the math department's tutor list.

So People forgot to mention that the Math Help Centre is only for first year courses
Its my fault too, I didn't read the website properly.
Still looking for a tutor if anyone is up for it. I did some research and this course is similar to MATH 3XO3

integrating complex numbers is the same as regular integration except you split it into 2 parts the integration of the real part plus i*integral of the imaginary part.
A bunch of my friend took 3X03 last year (and I'm in it now) so if you come around Hamilton Hall you can probably find some of them and ask them to tutor

I know integration by parts is part of it but when you encompass it with other concepts in the same problem it becomes hard .
Would you be able to ask any of them if they would like to tutor? I don't wanna go around asking random ppl if they'd like to tutor me xD

As odd as it sounds I would go to an electrical engineer, probably with bit of a specialty in power systems. That way you learn exactly what you need to and cut out all the useless sh*t math profs like to teach you. Plus Complex numbers are the life of most disciplines in electrical eng.
