I always wondered why Fifa is a competitive game..

1. Wednesday, should've been saturday
2. what is this:

Groups 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, and 8 will play their group games on PS3
Groups 3 and 6 will play their group games on Xbox
All knockout matches will be played on PS3


Why not have half groups play on PS3, half on Xbox 360 and then have two legs in the knockouts, one on each console?

You have to consider the controller preferences here.

1. Half of McMaster goes home on the weekend.
2. It was going to be all PS3, but the Lyons New Media Centre has one station where the PS3 is broken. Besides, most people prefer PS3, and additionally what you are suggesting is extremely hectic and you have no clue how difficult it is to accommodate an entire tourney in one night.


Other than that, the tourney was a huge success today, thanks for everyone who came out! Congrats to Luca for his victory, and to Raul for being runner-up.
