McMaster NeuroXchange Conference

Hey Everyone,
Abstract Submission and Registration has now begun for McMaster's first Undergraduate Neuroscience conference, The NeuroXchange Conference. The NeuroXchange Conference will be the first Canadian research conference aimed at undergraduate neuroscience researchers.

Unlike the Ontario psychology thesis conference, NeuroXchange will have a select focus on neuroscience and provide an invaluable networking opportunity for future neuroscience researchers, while also providing students with experience diseminating scientific research findings to their colleges.

The best poster at the conference will also be given a publication in The Meducator, McMaster University's undergraduate health sciences journal publication.

Early Bird registration lasts until March 18th.

More information about the conference, including scheduling, eligibility, and abstract submission, can be found at neuroxchange.org or feel free to email the planning committee at [email protected] g.

Best Regards,
Gagan Fervaha, NeuroXchange Conference Chair

This sounds awesome! Do you have to be presenting research to attend? I was hoping we might be able to just check out the presentations to get inspired for an upcoming thesis project

Hey. Sounds really cool! I'll definitely have to look into this and talk to my supervisor. Sounds like a really great experience especially for people who want to go into grad school.

Sounds like a perfect email question. Chances are there will be several lectures, and will take place in somewhere like mdcl, where the posters will be scattered about the halls, so it shouldn't matter.

Yes, you'll have to register even if you're just attending (but you don't have to submit an abstract)
