McMaster Water Week (Oct 6-10, 2014)

 
We hope to see you at the first ever McMaster Water Week that starts today (Monday Oct 6th) at 5PM and runs all week long (till Oct 10th).

Quote:
A week of events for students, the community, and faculty to promote water research, teaching and engagement. The week will provide an opportunity to connect water science, technology and policy to deliver local and global impacts.
Here's a rundown of the main events:
MONDAY
5:00PM "Watermark" documentary and arts panel (CIBC Hall, in the Student Centre, building #51 on the map)
TUESDAY
1:00PM Great Lakes, Great Responsibilities: Can Governance Capacity be Measured? (CIBC Hall, in the Student Centre, building #51 on the map)
6:30PM Distinguished Lecture: Water, Climate, and Society. (co-sponsored by UNU-INWEH; lecture will take place at McMaster Innovation Park, 175 Longwood Road South, L8P 0A1)
WEDNESDAY
11:00AM Pathways to Water Leadership Training (CIBC Hall, in the Student Centre, building #51 on the map)
2:00PM Student poster competition and prize (CIBC Hall, in the Student Centre, building #51 on the map)
5:00PM Distinguished Lecture:Billions at risk: water & global public health (CIBC Hall)
THURSDAY
8:00AM India Water Sector Opportunities (Celebration Hall, inside Kenneth Taylor Hall, building #38 on map)
2:30PM International Panel on Sustainable Development Goals (Great Hall, Alumni Memorial Hall, bulding #8 on the map)
FRIDAY
10:00AM (Resgister online) Hamilton Harbour Tour & Ambassador Program
