Mech Eng 2B03
Before I go on, yes I did do a search for this course - and the topic I found should have been pertinent had Prof. McDermid still been teaching it.

So, if anyone was fortunate enough to be in his class last year, did you find the textbook to be relatively useful? The only thing this course is marking for are the labs and exams (a 50-50 ratio). So far, whatever has been covered in class has been fairly straightforward.

Should I be worried that I am finding the course too sparse in terms of content (especially since it's been around a fortnight already)?

tl;dr: This course puzzles me and I don't know what to expect because of Prof. Sklad.
Sincerely,
A survivor of 2Q04

know the labs and tolerances for the exam, relatively easy course. Hopefully you dont have Anton as a TA for the labs, otherwise good luck.

I've started seeing presses in my dreams.

On that note, Anton is the name of my 2ZZ3 TA.

Never needed the book. Go to classes, learn course notes, pay attention to stupid crap like how to read a caliper, and how sensors work/AC>DC and whatnot. Easy 10.
