Mechatronics
I was looking at this year's undergraduate calendar and I noticed that the Mechatronics program does not have any complementary studies electives, while all other engineering programs do.

Does anyone know why this is?

They just take need courses that are required for that year in order for them to finish their degree "on time." That's how I see it, anyway.

It's because Mechatronics takes their comp electives in 4th year. We just have too much awesome to have time for silly things like English or Philosophy. None of these will be necessary once the Robots take control. SKYNET.

its just the way the program is planned... complementary studies electives are a requirement for accreditation, but when they are taken in the degree is not relevant.

If you look at the undergrad calendar, theyre there, theyre just in 4th year :

probably best that theyre done later as they will be a refreshing distraction in your stressful final year
