med physics 1e03?
Hey
Has anyone taken this course yet? Is it hard, boring, OR interesting?
and does anyone know anything about the prof (Farquharson)?

I took MedRad 1C03 last year, its a similar physics course for the medical radiation program. The course was split into quarters and Dr.Farquharson taught the radiation aspect of the course. He was a good professor, really knew what he was talking about and made everything interesting. His test was easy too if you paid attention in class, same goes with his section on the exam.

sorry i dont understand what u mean by that it was split into quarters (like the course is taught by four profs, or like there are four sections to it)
i wanted to know, what type of things are taught (like sth more than whats written in the undergrad calender)

4 completely different units taught by 4 different profs, but this course is different from what you are asking about, i was just commenting on the professor you asked about

I took MedPhys 1E03 last year with Farquharson.
It was incredibly interesting. You learn a lot of stuff in that course. In fact, if I didn't major in chemical biology, I would've majored in medical physics.
Its also not a hard course (I got an 11, but I could have very easily gotten a 12 if I put some effort into it). But that being said, its not a bird course, and not for those that are weak of mind
I strongly suggest this course.
