Meeting Freinds in their Res.
Just out of curiosity, if you wanted to meet up with freinds who are living in different residences, can you go at whatever time and whenever as long as you are with them?

Since only they have the keys to that specific res, what are some rules and regulations that we should know.

If i wanted to go to a party at another res, would i get my freinds to let me in or do i have to check in at the main desk or whatever??

u can go over anytime during the day , u can call them down to let u in if u cant get in. after about 9pm thursdays fridays and saturdays there are CA's that wont allow u in, unless your friend signs u in. each person can sign in 2 guests. in some residences its easier to avoid this.

b_rad has most of the rules correct.

However, during Welcome Week (Aug 30 - Sept 7) you are not permitted guests in the evening hours, regardless of if they go to Mac or not.

Well, yes, but for the majority of the year there's no need to "get away" with anything because guests are allowed. What you said probably won't work during Welcome Week due to increased security, and certainly won't be appreciated by staff or students during exams if your friends are being disruptive. Remember, the policy is in place so that residents can study in peace. As with many things, it's possible to fly under the radar if you're subtle about it, but don't be surprised if you get the boot if your friends do something not-so-intelligent.
