Mid-term recess?
I tried google-ing, but came to no avail. Does anyone have an idea of what this may be, its apparently new for this coming year.

It's a new break. They shortened the exam period by two days to make it, I think. It's just two days off at the end of October, nothing really to know about.

It's around Halloween or something. Like the Friday and Monday off. Big woop.

Now it will be even more hectic when all profs schedule all their midterms to be the thursday before the term break or the tuesday after the break. This is a well disguised **** assault waiting to happen people!

We won't really know how it works/whether it's good or bad until the first year. So we'll just have to be the guinea pigs this year!
