RECESS: Come play!
Presented by the McMaster Outdoors Club & the Maroons.
EVERY THURSDAY, 3-5 pm in the Activity Centre of DBAC (David Braley Athletic Centre)
Remember back in elementary school how life used to be so much fun? How your biggest worries were not midterms, assignments or labs, but whether you would play hopscotch or soccer at recess?
Well, the Maroons and the Outdoor Club are bringing recess back, because you are never too old to play. Every week we will be featuring different activities - stay tuned for floor hockey, basketball, volleyball, capture the flag and more! E-mail activity requests to [email protected]
THIS WEEK (November 12th): Baton Ball!
Baton Ball:
Equipment: 4-6 balls, 8 pins (the kind you knock over, as in bowling)
Description: Essentially a twist on dodgeball... Each team will have 4 pins and in order to win you must eliminate the other players as well as knock over their pins. An elementary school classic and a little bit more exciting than your run-of-the-mill dodgeball game.
Summary: Fun!
For more information/to stay updated on activities, RSVP to the RECESS: Come play! Facebook group: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/event.php?eid=1707152 87506&ref=ts
