Midterms!!
I have Dr. Stone (bio 1m03), Dr. Loverinski (math 1ls3), and Luc Bernier (envir sc 1b03) this term. I have midterms coming up from these profs. Can anyone tell me (who might've had them before) what type of tests these profs make. they say stuff like it'll be a lot of application or etc. but what kind of content is actually on their tests? also is it possible for someone to send me past test samples etc. thank you

Why don't you just study harder instead of looking for an easy way out? Its actually illegal for us to give you things like that, copyrights, etc.

Just assume every test is going to be reallly difficult, that way if you study too much, you'll come out smarter than you would have otherwise?
I'm not sure how anybody here can say something that will help your studying be more effcient.. and past tests... if it were not against academic integrity policies, etc, I guess they would ...help..
But then you'll just be studying the answers. And if you take the practice test and do well, you'll have a false sense of security. And if you take the test and do poorly, well, you'll be doing what you would have been doing anyways.
tldr: i have nothing to contribute

dr. stone likes to give tricky questions, but he's pretty fair, the questions are mostly concept-based so you don't need alot of memorization

Yeah, for 1LS3, just do the practice assignments and practice tests in the courseware and you should be good to go!

Is math 1ls3 final hard? I heard if you do really well on the final exam then it could cover 90% of the final mark. lol

For Enviro Sci the first year midterms were generally MC, TF, some definitions, and short answer questions.
Know the key diagrams that he has talked about.
I don't know how much I can stress that last point.

Most people I know found it harder than the tests; which makes sense because it's 3 months of materials compared to just 3 weeks for each test. It's definitely possible, but I would focus on doing well in the tests as well. That way even if the final is hard, it would only account for 40% of your mark instead of 90% with the other formula!

For 1LS3, apparently we're supposed to focus more on Textbook questions than Assignments
