The difference is the length of time.

When people hear "fall reading week", they think it's a full week off. If it so happens that the fall break is less than that - say, a day or two - these people will then complain that the president did not keep her promise. Because they expected a "fall reading week", which was never the case.

All I'm saying is don't hype up something to be more than it is. If you do that, you're always going to end up disappointed.

Fair enough at your first point. I don't need a fall reading week, or a fall break. Don't keep expectations, no disappointment. Simple.
