Mills Learning Commons 24/7
Starting today and for the duration of exams, the Mills Library Learning Commons is open 24/7! Late night hours entrance is through the Tower Door. See here for more info.

Good luck on exams!

We need staff to monitor computer use. So many people plunk down in front of one of the macs, and then open up their own laptop and ignore the library computer, or just read their notes in front of the computer. We really need to emphasize that the computers are a resource to do work and learn, not check your facebook for hours. I can understand taking a break and checking something fun, but when you sit there for hours wasting university resources, you should be kicked out.

it's always loud.
mills 1st and 2nd, Thode 1st, Innis near the entrance, Health Sci (basically all the libraries) are hangouts now.

if you want to get work done, find a quiet place to study.

Remember when librarians would "shh" at you if you were loud?

I remember those good old days. people go to libraries nowadays to socialize [email protected] I understand there's group work and such, but there's group study rooms. So there is no reason why it should be loud in other parts of the library!!

Thode was my favourite library before the renovations. The only areas that were remotely loud were the basement group study rooms/tables and the 1st floor group tables. Nowadays I just avoid the libraries altogether. =/
