Minecraft server?
Hello, I am wondering how to start a Minecraft server on the mac residence internet connection. After the holidays I am bringing an extra tower from home and would like to set it up as a minecraft server (as it is at home right now). The problem is that when I was just trying to set one up as a test right now, but I am not able to connect to it at all (from an outside connection, not on LAN). I have tried different ports and I port forwarded and everything. Is Mac blocking any specific ports, and if they are is there any specific ones I should choose for this task? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

as far as i know all ports are blocked. You cannot setup a publicly (internet) available port from a residence connection. you could set up a residence lan server though.
