MMORPG's anyone...?
Was just wondering if anyone here plays any online games? For example, WoW, ROSE online, MU, MapleStory, Lineage, FLy for fun....or any games of those sorts.

I've seen too many people disappear for months at a time from RL due to WoW. Not worth it man :(

You'll probably laugh at the MMORPG I play. It's called Aetolia. It's entirely text based, but has one of the best PvP combat systems I've encountered. Plus some good roleplay if that's your thing. Free to play too.

toatally agree with ownaginatios...wow is def. not worth it way too addicting
but I know that alot of friends and myself play cabal. There is alot of grinding but its pretty decent.

WoW scares me. I've seen too many people get sucked in by its evil grasps.
My boyfriend tries to get me into playing Icesus, which is entirely text-based. Its not bad, but I'm just not into gaming like he is xD
Both of us refuse WoW though

Well I play MapleStory...sadly. But its fun. Dont play alot though, just once in a while --need a life XD

MMO's went downhill. I still remember playing on POL Shards for Ultima Online. If you know anything about MMO's, Ultima is the father of the MMORPG genre.
Live it classic 
Quit my addictions back in the 2004/2005 (? can't remember). Never gone back since and I can say my life has been better for that.

I played it for less than year back when i was in highschool around grade 9. Back then, it was entertaining. A couple of online guy who still play MMO's for fun tell me it's gone down the crapper because it's too user friendly.
However, my idea of fun is different from what others are used to. Like I said, MMO's have gone down the shitter for me. Everything's to safe and friendly, and players barely have to worry about risk when it comes down to PVP. Ultima was awesome for that; you could die anywhere, anytime even if you were in a city under protec... ah screw it. Memories of the old days.
Anyways, I'd say no about the Runescape thingy, but its a matter of opinion. You can try it out if you want.
