Mock Timetable Review? (Engineering I)
This is the mock timetable I've made for myself for my first semester of Engineering I. Can anyone please review it for me in case there's any teachers/course combinations I should avoid?

I've designed it so that I have teachers that got a lot of praise from RateMyProfessors.com, and to give myself a lot of evenings off and not too many early mornings. Do I have classes too closely placed and need to space them out? Any bad teachers? What do you think of the schedule?

Thanks,
Dave

Note: fixed the physics lab/tutorial issue, thank you BlackDragon.

Hey,

your schedule looks pretty good. I like how most of the days you have breaks in between two things but be careful of those long chunks on monday and thursday which are literally 3-4 hours long without any break in between. But, if you think you can handle that without getting exhausted, then go for it. Overall, it looks pretty decent.

P.S. I like how you've also taken the rating of professors into consideration. never thought of that until now haha.

You can't do what you did to physics. You have to have same tutorial and lab #

McLean is awesome. I was talking to him last year randomly in jhe and he seemed like a nice prof, but ive never had him. fliesig... so boring.

Doyle - epic fail. Lol, atleast for 2sh4 he was..

Edit: Do the labs and tutorials alternate weekly? Is that why they have the same time?

I've attached my amended timetable to the first post.

they alternated when i took it, two years ago....so i think its safe to assume that they still alternate.

Generally if the labs/tutorials are in the same time slot then choose same section numbers. So one week you have a lab then the next you have tutorial in the same time slot with the same TAs so you can even ask questions about the lab. I don't know if its mandatory to choose same #'s though.

So lets say for example if i pick L01 for CHEM 1A03 (Monday - 8:30 - 11:20) and T01 is (Monday - 9:30 - 10:20), does that mean I can pick any Lab and tutorial for CHEM 1A03? Kinda confused here lol

edit: since they are @ different times?

SOLAR will automatically do it for you. No worries. You can in fact choose different section #'s as long as both #s are either even or odd since that's how they rotate the two groups. Besides from past CHEM 1A03 course outlines it looks like you can attend any tutorial you want.

"You may attend tutorials any day you choose, and it is recommended that you attend at least once every other week; more often if you need. Seating is on a first-come-first-served basis."

Hope I didn't confuse you more lol.

Alright, thanks. I know that SOLAR does it for you but I wanted to make sure that my mock timetable is correct.

Ya this is a good idea. Since ENG 1P03 is only offered in term 1 starting this Sept. Both 1P03 and 1C03 had pretty big projects when I took them and separating the two can help with workload.
