Moulton's got a piano on every floor in the common room, I'm sure you'll really love that!

I'm Daniel, 1st floor Room 130, Life Science I... I wasn't happy about the Bunk and Loft either but I hope I can enjoy my year anyway.
To musicians: I've also played piano for 10 years and sax for 6 I'm interested in taking Music 1G03 as an elective for band, anyone else? Piano in the residence, awesome. Are they in good condition?

You're 4 doors down from me, lol. I'm 126. Good that there'll be a couple musicians close together eh?
I wanted Keyes for the music room in the basement. My sister stayed at Conrad Grebel at UWaterloo two years ago and they had a sweet performance stage, practice rooms, and medium grand piano in the basement. You could take music courses right out of the basement in her res.
Also, I don't think you can take Music 1G03 as an elective, otherwise I would.

From what I saw you can only take Music 1A03, which is history of music.

Darn... now I'm jealous of Keyes again...
Anyway for 1G03, the website says that people who are not in music have to audition. I contacted someone who took it, she said after she successfully auditioned she dropped an elective and the money transferred from one course to the other. So if I get in I will drop economics 2nd semester

Ah, who would you have to contact to audition? I may not be the fastest sight reader on piano and a completely inept sight reader for guitar, but I can sight read for tenor sax really easily (thank you high school band). Maybe I can try auditioning for that and drop Psych 1X03.
Edit: I tried taking music history 1st or 2nd semester at 7:30 in the morning yesterday (SOLAR opened for me yesterday) and they were already full. That's the only reason I'm taking Psych lol.
You're taking Econ 1B03 second semester?

Yep 2nd for Econ 1B03. As for auditions, all I was told was to look out during the 1st week of school for sign-ups, or email one of the music professors.
