Haha no i dont think itll be as bad as it sounds. Are u in a quad room? I find that the basement rooms are pretty big actually in comparison to the other rooms in the building. And theyre right next to the EMR and the study room which is cool too. Also, theyre not really "underground" as first floor of the building is elevated a bit, so you'll have windows like everyone else, you wont be living in some gloomy dark underground space :p.
The only thing that might be a pain is that there is only one set of bathrooms on that floor, and i think it is a boys one, so you might have to take the stairs up one floor to use the girls washroom.

I noticed that in my residence application it says my room is in Moulton -1E. I'm not sure what that means. 1 = first floor I'm assuming, but what does E mean? East wing of the residence?

My name's Dave, I'm in the Engineering I program.
I'm on the first floor I believe... Moulton -1E.
I'm a musician, been playing piano for ten years, guitar for four, and sax for four. Any other musicians on res?

My name is Sarah, I'm on third floor, and I may not be much of a musician (I sing), but I'm in Engineering I as well. Anyone else here speak French at all?

All i knw about the quad rooms is that theyre biggg. Hopefully ull get along with everyone in ur room!
Welll i only took Anthro 1A03. I had it with Arratia. The course wasn't too bad in my year i believe we had 2 midterms, a final,a small essay and a big essay and tutorial participation marks. Honestly, i rarely went to class :p. I believe i had it early morning and all she did was read off the slides which i sometimes find to be quite dull. Although she did show some videos that she had test questions on soo,GO TO CLASS. ALWAYS. NO MATTER WHAT. :p That being said it was relatively easy and i know a lot of ppl who did reallllly good in the class. I recommend that you stick with it.

Thanks so much for the info. What are tutorial participation marks, like you have to raise your hand and participate in class discussions and get graded on how well you participate..?
