The Hangover was actually pretty decent. Funniest movie this year (next to District 9)

I watched it last nite (an alternate version, not in theatres). I didnt find it scary, with the exception of one part.

Have you seen Saved?

It's not the best movie, but I thought it was funny.

  • Motorcycle Diaries
  • Before Night Falls (it's in English but you need to choose to watch with English subtitles to catch all of the dialogue and "writing" -- there's not much at all that you need to read)
  • Milk
  • (I second) Amelie
  • Life is Beautiful
  • anything Monty Python

I am a HUGE chick-flick junkie, so if you feel like crying and laughing and believing in true love again (haha ), you should definitely watch:

- The Notebook (I can’t believe this hasn’t been suggested yet!)
- Titanic
- Pretty woman
- Confessions of a Shopaholic
- The Devil wears Prada
- Post-Grad
- Breakfast at Tiffany’s
-When Harry met Sally
- How to Lose a Guy in 10 days
- Mean Girls
- 27 Dresses
- The Holiday
- Sweet Home Alabama
- She’s the One

Most of these will be totally predictable and clichéd, but they are soo good!

Some others have mentioned Paranormal Activity. I suggest that. BUT try to walk the original ending, not the ending made for national theatre release.

Don't watch it on your laptop in the middle of the day. It won't be scary. Put it on a TV if possible, turn off the lights, watch it at nighttime.

What is the difference between the two endings? Is one scarier than the other? =/

Watch 28 Days Later.
That has to be one of my favorite movies ever.

Someone told me that Paranormal Activity is shot like...."home movie" style. Someone want to explain the movie to me? I'm debating whether or not to see it :S
