MSSS Does Reading Week in Montreal!
MSSS Goes to Montreal (for CHEAP!)<o></o>

Maybe you’re looking for somewhere to go during Reading Week, but don’t have a lot of cash to spare. No fear! The McMaster Social Sciences Society has a four day, three night trip to Montreal for only $120 for Soc Sci students. Not a Soc Sci? Then the trip is a still-affordable $140. <o></o>
<o></o>
The price includes chartered bus to and from Montreal, three night’s accommodations at the Delta Montreal (A four-star hotel, complete with indoor pool), and a couple of surprises. I don’t know what the surprises are exactly, but I have a feeling it may include admission to a few key places in Montreal. Seats are limited (even more so if you’re not in Soc Sci) and are on a first come, first serve basis. <o></o>

Want some more incentives? Montreal is known as quite the party city; as the drinking age is eighteen and last call is at 3AM (in comparison to Ontario’s 2AM). Club Super Sexe...look it up. It is the second largest city in Canada after Toronto, and likewise holds a lot of shopping, tourist attractions, museums and more. If you’re a photographer, there are tons of old parts of town (colonization, Samuel de Champlain old) to take pictures of.<o></o>
<o></o>
The trip leaves on Friday February 15th, and returns on Monday February 18th. There are some things that are “planned” (and by that, it means they are paid for), but it is my understanding that we get to wander around Montreal doing whatever we please for most of the trip. Sounds like a pretty good deal, right?<o></o>
<o></o>
The downsides are that gratuities, food and entertainment is not paid for. Also, prices increase by $20 as of February 1st. And possibly the worst news: there is only a total of forty-four seats are available for the trip. I don’t know how many they have sold, or how many are left...but I’m told they’re going fast.<o></o>

If you have any additional questions, you can email the MSSS exec at [email protected]. There is also a Facebook group too: http://mcmaster.facebook.com /event...=1985641 8072.
