The MSU General Assembly (GA) for 2015 is officially set for Monday, March 23. The GA will be held in Burridge Gymnasium, and proceedings will run from 4:00 - 6:00 PM, with doors open for registration as early as 3:30 PM.
The MSU GA is a constitutionally-mandated annual meeting open to all full-time (18 units or more) undergraduate students. It serves as an opportunity for students to actively participate in the decision making process of the MSU and help direct where the organization is headed. Any student may submit a motion for discussion for debate at the GA, and speak for or against any issue before an open and public session.
If you are interested in submitting a motion or agenda item for the 2015 GA, please email your submission to
[email protected] r.ca by no later than noon (12:00 PM) on Monday, March 16. Once all submission are collected , the final agenda for the GA, including supporting documents, will be made publically available by the end of Tuesday, March 17.
*Please note that the order of items on the agenda will be crafted in the order in which motions are received. However, the Speaker reserves the right to order agenda items in the most logical format.
