I've heard nothing but good comments about the course. I am actually excited to take it during the second summer term.

I'm thinking about taking it as an elective too. I'm having trouble deciding between that and The Digital Image (MMEDIA 1B03) though.

I took it last year with Dr. Shyba. It was ridiculously easy if you already have a lot of computer or design experience. We spent about a month just on making a powerpoint. If you don't have much experience, you might struggle a little. I knew people who hadn't made a powerpoint or made a website using DreamWeaver(which is what we used). Also, you will need to take MMedia 1A03 if you intend on going into the Communications program.

You should probably check out the course review on MacInsiders and the course description on the undergraduate calendar. Find out which one interests you more.

1A03 is Dreamweaver (though you do use photoshop)

1B03 is more Photoshop focus (so I've heard)

So I guess choose which program interests you. BTW if you are totally new to dreamweaver, it is not a problem, all the basics are taught.
