Multiple choice exams and midterms !?
So are all midterms and exams multiple choice tests?

what about courses like mathematics and Physics, dont we have to show the steps?

note: My courses are pysch1x03, math1a03, physics1b03, bio1a03, chem1a03

Thanks in advance : )

It's up to the professor, they will let you know well in advance how to test is laid out

for math 1a03, last year my exams were all short answer types where you have to show all ur work. physics 1b03 i had last year and the exams were all multiple choice. chem is all multiple choice but there are some harder questions were the question is worth 5 or 3 marks i can't remember at the moment. bio is part multiple choice and part short answer and psych is all multiple choice.

In first year, the classes tend to be far too large for them to care about showing the steps. Often, the 'wrong' options for MC questions are ones that you would get by making common calculation/theoretical errors. I found this to be especially true in physics. It's the end result that matters--You can get to it any way you want.
