Does music 1a03 or 1aa3 have any essays in the course? If you have taken these courses did you like them? Were they easy?

no essays at all

only listening samples of music from each era and learning a bunch of facts.
dont let the first lecture scare u off.

I took 1a03 this spring, really easy course (with Dr.Gerry it is).

If you took Music in high school, 1AA3 will be a breeze. I got a 98% in it.
No essays, 3 tests, 2 had listening components, and 1 final exam that took majority of the class 15 minutes to write.
Woolhouse can have a bit of a temper sometimes, but he writes very easy questions.

How about prof Argentino? He's teaching 1a03 this sept. And if I haven't taken music in high school can I still get a good mark?
