I just added a new course to my term 1, how long does it take for it to show up on avenue?

It could take a few days. But since the term just started, the course might not even be activated on avenue yet. Only 3 of my 5 classes are on my avenue so far.

Be patient. The issue is almost always addressed during lecture. If not, ask the prof.

There's no set amount of time. It's not something that auto-changes, and since a lot of people are dropping and adding courses now, most profs don't have an up-to-date class list. At the very latest, you should see it by 1-2 days after the drop/add date.

Patience
This could take a couple of days. If it still isn't up in a few days, mention something to your prof as this is likely happening to many others in your course. You can also send an email to the avenue techs.

it takes time for the system to add you sometimes...and sometimes profs haven't got around to it yet. i only have one course on avenue right now, but profs have told me they'll get to it soon

I talked to one of my TAs about that today and he told me (this may be class-specific) but some classes update every friday, so even though I registered for this course today, I wont see it on avenue until then.

Definitely talk to someone though, try a TA or prof and make someone know. I've had another class where all the prof had to do was click an accept button or something to get me in. Don't worry too much.
