yea talk to them. Show that you are serious but lose your temper. It'll just be awkward between the two of you and that would cause an uncomfortable situtation for you both. Then when the year is over get a new roomate

I would suggest you use sticky notes. Make a sticky and put it on every time he uses your stuff, or leaves shit behind. Handling it with a cool head is the key.

If all fails, threaten him over the issue. He will refuse, and continue his behaviour. Then you will probably build up rage, like heat in a steaming kettle, and beat him almost to death with a bat or some hard but blunt object. You will then get arrested, and probably get sent to jail for a decade. There you be initially raped, then after you will be forced to join a prison gang, and carry out hits. Until one day you get paroled because of overcrowding, you join the prison gang's street counter part. Hardened by the criminal justice system, you work your way to the top. You become the boss, and rule the city with the iron fist.

One day while riding your limo with your supermodel girlfriend who has herpes. You spot your dirty, disgusting roommate homeless, and this time..... you don't hold back.

PS: The sticky note would be a less of a hassle

Wow... that's like the ultimate in passive aggression. I highly doubt that'll work.

Best suggestion: Talk to them directly, face to face.

Talk to them. If it persists, talk to your floor rep. Their job is to handle these situations and make sure stuff doesn't keep happening.

Avoid saying anything to them but instead just vent into MacInsider's chat feature.

Bad idea! Talking face to face turns awkward real fast and could turn into a fight ( they might attack you on your bad habits!). Have to be careful when your living with a person who is the source of the pain in the said ass.

Writing a note, which does not single out anyone is a good idea. If it persists, then talk to them as a final resort. Don't single anyone out, its a bad idea!

Its not passive aggressive, its a good step in conflict resolution.

Definitely talk to your CA(s) if it continues to be a problem. The CAs in Keyes are all pretty awesome people.

1. Tell your CA and RM 1st, so when it comes down to a real argument. You already have a case.
2. Tell your roomate to clean chit up and take responsbility as a adult.
3. Tell Roomate to never touch your stuff again, or else you will report to the RM and get the roomate kicked out of res for stealing.

Talk to your roomate in a calm yet firm tone.

Talk about it in person. Sticky notes piss most people off.
