Name my pet, please.
Today I bought a ferret, but I haven't figured out a name for him yet and would like creative assistance from anyone other than my uncreative housemates.
He's very light grey, and has no distinct patterns on him because he's so young, so I can't name him based on features (my housemate suggested naming him "Grey"...).
The only requirements are as follows:
- pun-based names such as "Ferret Fawcett" are acceptable
- names that will hurt his feelings, such as references to his odour, are not acceptable

Before reading thread: Entropy, Dinner.
After reading thread: Furret, Capacitance (measured in Farads), Farid (less funny when someone tells you it's pronounced "far-EED").

I'd call him Mr. Furrut in an English accent. So classy, and fits in with the grey colour for London's grayish weather.
There ya go. Or Roger's good too...

Classy is always good. When I was little I had a rabbit named Archibald Bunningham the Third.

Name him Atticus. Give condescending looks to whoever does not get the reference to one of the best father figures in literature.

Ohhh! Romeo! Now that's a real name for a ferret!
Based of-course on another masterpiece in literature.
Might I suggest finding a Juliet soon?

My friend has a ferret and suggested getting two because they get incredibly lonely if you leave for more than a few hours. I may do that.

If you're getting 2, name 'em after other animals like bear and walrus!
Just imagine the possibilities:
"I have my bear and walrus with me today" Or..."Oh no! my bear and walrus have gone missing" Or..."Oh my! my bear and walrus have mated"
