If you feel like going to the theaters/haven't seen it yet, I'd recommend Bridesmaids. It's the first movie I've seen in a really long time that made me cry and develop abs from laughing so hard. (something hilarious happens every ~2 minutes, no joke).

Also I recommend Inglorious Basterds, and Death at a Funeral (the original version!!) (my two personal favourites of all time)

Wow that is a long list. I've watched or heard of all but a few of these. A lot of boilerplate titles but also some standouts that I didn't expect to see; and some of them are really out of left field (Salo, Titticut Follies). Of them my favourites are:

A bunch I've been meaning to watch which are probably solid judging by the directors' other works or just general hype:

Law Abiding Citizen, with Gerald Butler (when he was good and did action movies) and Inside Man, with Clive Owen (AKA, Nicholas Cage Jr.)

For movies at the theatre that I've seen recently, Super 8 is very good, and Hangover 2 was a decent follow up, but not as good as the first one. I've also heard good things about X-Men: First Class, but haven't gotten around to seeing it.

I concur. The next time you hold a big family gathering (ie xmas, birthday, reunion, etc), I highly suggest "Saḷ o le 120 giornate di Sodoma" be shown on a big screen tv (preferably on a 120+ inch projector screen).

X Men First Class was an excellent movie, good plot and convincing actors. But really, the highlight of the movie was Hugh Jackman's 5 second cameo. I could watch that movie just for that scene and be happy stopping it there
