Need help to put together a desktop
Need someone to help me put together a desktop PC. I am not the greatest with computer hardware, so could use help. Will compensate for your time.

By 'put together' do you mean help you plan your purchases, or physically add all the components together and connect zee parts?

That's part 1. They are seriously helpful. I built my first desktop (gaming rig) over the Christmas break this year. Followed advice in those videos and online (reddit; r/buildapc). Should be able to give you a good idea of what you're in for and how to put everything together.

always wanted to learn. no money to do it myself and too scared. guess this is a good start ^_^

one sort of indirect check for compatibility (ie you NEED to make sure you get a mother board with the correct processor socket) would be to use a website such as cyberpowerpc to build a pc using the parts you want.

Thanks to all for replies, i needed help in both making the purchases and putting it together. It is primarily for casual use. Thanks for the videos and links, they will really help.

I concur. JayChu is really knowledgeable when it comes to these sorts of things and is really helpful. He really goes go out of his way sometimes to help someone out.

i swear there was like 3 or 4 discussion ive been in that mention how to best choose a computer and good parts and sources to get them. i cant find any of the links tho
