Does anyone wanna go halvsies with me on a new start-up business? We just need a little capital to start buying and selling McMaster elective courses. Sure, you frown upon me now, but there's some real potential here...

If they are program requirements, contact the department they are a part of and they should open up a spot for you.

Update: So I'm thinking we hunt down some students who aren't planing on taking a full year and use them as course reserves, for a small part of the profit. Then we could cut Chad in for say... 15% ?... to get a dedicated tab on macinsiders, I'll set up the paypal account and manage the transactions; this could be quite profitable, plus we only have to operate a couple months a year..

Its so ridiculous, they should have more than one core for these classes because they are in high demand.

Lol, then we could spend the rest of our undergrad degree building the business' rep, and pitch it to McMaster in our final year... the university can take control of the business under our names, without anyone knowing. McMaster may say, "why can't we just do something similar?", but of course, the university won't want to open a business based on the failure of its own system, so we say they can operate under the pretense of the business being student owned. All we would ask for is modest golden parachute and/or future percentage of the company's gross and/or a seat in one of McMaster's graduate/professional schools...

Plus, Mac wouldn't even need to find half-year students to use as course reserves, since they could just open and close spots as they see fit. We would, of course, mention this potential for major growth in our proposal.
