I Need Microsoft Office On My Comp
Not sure if I'm allowed to even ask this, but does anyone have a cd copy or whatever of MS Office 2010 that they wouldn't mind uploading and sharing with me? My new laptop only came with this crappy starter package which only has Word. Oh, and I'm also looking for a free copy of Adobe Photoshop, hehe.
Thanks <3
edit/ I have Windows 7. If that makes a difference.

Have you tried http://www.openoffice.org/? It's a good open-sourced version compatible with MS Office.

register account at warez-bb.org, largest forum on the internet for direct downloading. This uses direct downloading through filehosts such as rapidshare, megaupload, etc. In terms of easiness to download as a free user, best filehosts go in order of megaupload>mediafire> rapidshare>hotfile. Just search up microsoft office and you will get a ton of hits.
Imo, stick with office 07, 10 is kinda buggy still

If you're going into residence, download DC++ (a inter-residence filesharing network) and look up "Office 2007" or what have you. You'll likely find an ISO file to download, and then download the program Daemon Tools; it uses ISO images and "mounts" a drive that doesn't exist, making your computer "think" you've actually inserted a real disc. You'll also probably get a CD key with the ISO file (or you can use a KeyGen to generate a CD key), and once you've mounted the ISO image with Daemon Tools and entered the CD key, presto! You have yourself a legitimate install of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, et cetera.)
EDIT: You can also get a copy of Adobe Photoshop CS3 via DC++ - if there's a program you want out there, someone is probably sharing it on DC++. It's a beautiful thing....

Open Office is good, I used it for a year.
If you end up wanting to get Microsoft Office legitimately, then you can split it between a group of friends. I think the key works for 3 different computers.

OpenOffice.Org is pretty awesome, but if you are a smart torrent-er, then ummm, must i finish?
All I will say is that, make sure you look at comments regarding the torrent, because comments can give you the decision about downloading the item or not.
DC++ is another smart choice, inter-residence downloading hub. Someone will probably be sharing MS OFFICE, so get it then.
