New Boy In Town: Kate and Wills welcome their new PRINCE
The news is out! It's official: there's a new monarch-to-be in the royal family! I'm excited; is anyone else excited?
Do y'all have anything to say on the matter?
Congrats Wills and Kate. *CHEERS AND BALLOONS*

The amount of publicity this birth is getting is ridiculous to say the least... I really couldnt give two shits about a royal baby born across the pond. Just my personal opinion.
Besides, what the hell is there to be excited about? This baby isnt going to have any affect on your life, except for the number of times that you will see it in the tabloid magazines im sure you purchase on a monthly basis.

It's great that Kate and William have a baby boy. This is too exciting to hear about. Although, I actually thought they would have a baby girl. But congrats to them both.

I have and never will care (in any form) about the royal family. I find in sickening that people seem to worship them...and for doing what? Because they were lucky enough to have been born into a heavily wealthy family? They are no greater than you and I. They are just disturbingly wealthier. The difference between a wealthy businessperson and Prince William is that at least the businessperson earned the money they have. But that's just me...

Yeap, have to join the cynicism boat on the level of interest I have in this whole thing. I think that monarchy is pretty stupid and archaic. It's pretty despicable that people get treated like gods even though they get money for doing nothing but appear at events which no one should be paying to go to because.... who cares? they had the extreme luck to be born into wealth and status. that's all. I'd be super pissed if I had a child born on the same day as their son, and all the excitement was overshadowed by their son's birth. like seriously? it's just another human being. people act like a baby has never been born before.

In a country where they are going to abolish swearing to serve to the British queen in order to become a citizen, I doubt whatever happens in royal family should matter. They have no real power, and the only reason why people still care about them is because of all the scandals and intrigues... and even so the Kardashians have much more crap going on than the royal family, so I can't think of any other reason why anyone would give a crap about them.

Forbes list of most powerful people I'm surprised the Prime Minister of the UK makes it over the Queen. I thought the Queen had precedence over him?

I don't give a rats ass about their newborn!
The Royal Family are really figure heads, I find it dumb how the UK would spend so many millions on a bunch of useless people every year just to celebrate their traditions. Monarchs should remain in history, no matter how much historical value they have. Anyways, I seriously think Canada needs to be a republic.

You wanna know whats worse than people talking about the royal baby?? That morning a couple of years ago when every "female reproductive system" (apparently you cant say the v word) in the world woke up at 4am to watch "the royal wedding". I refuse to believe any female who says they didnt watch it, as every man had to listen to all women squawk about it for the rest of that week.

All I say is that, if this is all there is to report, I'm not complaining.
Would rather see blue baby balloons than suicide bombings and plane crashes.

Well, seeing as those things likely ARE happening throughout the world today, the fact that a baby is getting more publicity in the media than plane crashes, suicide bombings, etc really says a lot about the general public that the media outlets are targeting.
Besides, if you listen to the reports on the radio, half of the conversation isnt even about the baby, but its about what Kate Middleton will wear when she leaves the hospital. People (mostly females) who give a legitimate fuck about things like that are a bit disappointing in my opinion. Worrying way to much about the lives of others and not focusing on the one the life that they have.
