I talked to one of my profs from last semester and he dutifully submitted his marks on the 23rd (LS 1A03 - Goutor). He said he doesn't know why they aren't up and doesn't know when they will be. Great, eh?

It's because the process goes something like this:

1. Professor hands over marks in floppy disk format
2. Registrar or whatever takes said floppy, puts into 1989 Mac
3. Prince of Persia
4. Clicks and drags the marks from the floppy onto the wrong folder
5. Breaks down into a ball of tears

Try checking Avenue as well; one of my professors posted our marks for our final exam on there first.

for 1P03 the exam marks have been posted on avenue

this is f***ing outrageous. how f***ing hard is it to post marks on time and not make the students wait?

I haven't gotten anything back since December 23. Honestly what do these registrar people do all day ? I would say ship the marks to china and upload them from there. It would probably be way faster.

I think everyone here would benefit from a hobby.

i dont get why the physics 1bb3 marks aren't up yet...that exam was on dec. 13th for crying out loud! and it was all multiple choice! you can always count on nejat to give you marks at the very last minute
