It makes me think that it's what they were aiming for, like some sort of "back to basics" or "back to home" version.

I think the metro ui, is the replacement to the beloved start button
i could be worng
try the beta version, it doesn't do a whole lot, but gives u an idea of what to expect

Ugly, boring. I'm tired of the 'clean sans serif pale font trendy' look.
However, I do like that W is capitalized.
