According to a leak the WIND n4 will be $249 on their full rewards program (equivalent of a 3 year). Compare that to $309 outright for the cheaper n4 on the google play store. Also not sure if the WIND n4 will be the 8gb ($309) or 16gb ($359) version. Either way going direct google is still a way better option than giving wind $200 in carrier markups + getting a locked device

I thought the idea of buying through wind is that all their phones are NOT locked. Either way, buying through google is a lot easier, plus i can't imagine it would get too much cheaper, especially not without a contract

I used to be with Wind. Phone was locked. At the time they had a "3 month loyalty" policy where if you bought the phone outright (no tab) after three months they would give you the unlock code if you called them and asked for it after waiting for a sales rep for 1hr.

This is known. It wasn't meant for LTE.

This was the main drawback, but honestly with how good the phone runs and the campus is blanketed in wifi, I wasn't even going to get data.

The only reason why I would want this phone is that it's a pure Google Android experience. Little/no brand bloatware. And I like the idea of having the newest Android version first.
