Norton Anti-virus 2009 and CCAA
I'm going to make a quick note; Norton just released an update to version 2009 of their anti virus software available to any Norton subscribers. However, if you have installed it already and are at McMaster trying to log onto the network, you will receive a notification telling you that CCAA cannot pick up any virus protection software; most likely because it has yet to be included/detected on the network. As such, you wont be able to log on and access the network anywhere on campus;

To fix this, install the Sophos (I believe it was called) that is offered to McMaster Faculty/Students - CCAA will link you to the site. If you can, just wait a while before updating to 2009 until it's been verified for use on campus!
