I just took this course in first semester w/ Dr.Westman, the course is really easy and the midterms are not difficult at all. The class average for both midterms was around 86% and even though the profs are different, the content will be the same. The textbook is not needed IMO, but if you plan on doing the optional assignment, ppl said the textbook was helpful for that. However, I didn't do the optional assignment.

Dr. Pincivero is great! Our class average was also really high, midterms are fair, if you go to class and take good notes you will definitely do well. As posted above, the textbook isn't really necessary, I just used it for reference if I needed clarification. (you can download the pdf torrent so you don't have to buy the textbook)
