Why can't we have peace and just love each other for being good human beings?

I really dont know. A few people, myself included, have asked him to stop making these threads about what eng discipline he wants. Everytime people give advice, he turns it all away and starts making some less than reasonable arguements and then just keeps it going without accepting any advice. He really like responding to me though i guess

So, decided to go ahead and pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering after a lot of thoughts. The decision is final, as of right now at least, thanks for the input everyone. Chem Eng just has 3 labs in the straight chem eng program in the whole freaking 4 years, 2I03, 3L02 and 4L02.., just 3 labs, lol... 1aa3 doesnt count, math 2z03,2zc3 doesnt count for labs..

Don't let the fact that you only have 3 labs in Chemical Engineering be your motivating factor for choosing that stream... In fact those lab courses are a lot more work than a 2 unit course would have you believe. Best of luck with your choice and good luck with writing 15-25 page lab reports with on average less than stellar lab partners .

what? that was the reason, lol.. i have done pretty bad on first year labs.. 70-90 range, in ee it is all lab courses.., but even an 75 on lab courses shouldnt bring the average down much, as they are only worth 2 units, right? how is chem eng in general? without labs, is it pretty easy? I donot mean the content.. I mean, is it heavily theory based then? I am pretty good in theories, and bad in practical, I got a 96% and 94% on 1A03 midterm and final, but labs brought me down significantly, as I got (75/100)*15, or 11.25, overall got a 12, am happy about it.., did pretty good on software labs(DO4), bad on CO3, so overall, I feel that I am not lab made.. I can do the labs, but I excel in theories, and I dont want anyone bashing me for choosing engineering if I like theory.., cuz I dont need em..

Ugh yeah, Materials has a couple of full year 4 unit lab courses too. Its kind of bittersweet, sometimes its nice knowing your average won't change too much because of them, but the work is really underrepresented in 2 units, in fact those courses should at least be 3 or 4 units per semester in terms of the amount of time you put in.
