Online Payment Question
I'm planning on paying my tuition in full but am currently waiting for my bank (TD) to deposit my RESP money to my account. They promised that I'll have the money by Aug. 22.

I want to do the online payment option but since these take time I'm wondering if Mac need the money by the 26th already accounted for or will they be happy with me simply accepting the payment agreement? If anyone has used the online payment option with TD before can you tell me how long it takes?

Also, is there a faster way to pay?

You can set up online banking to pay a bill to McMaster University for a later day. You can set it up for the 1st of September if you want, but I suggest earlier incase some problems arise. McMaster suggests August 25th. You could write a cheque and hand it in directly to McMaster by hand. Obviously you'd have to travel far if you don't live near Hamilton., but you'd be sure that they have gotten the payment. It'll also take a few days for them to process it so give them a few days, like 3 or 4.

Edit: You can post-date the cheque for September first, so they won't take the money until that day.

So if I accept the payment agreement by the 26th but they don't get my money yet my courses won't be deleted?

Um, if I were you I would accept the payment agreement ASAP. They don't send your student card or confirmation (at least I don't think so) until you have completely registered, which includes the payment agreement. Also, I think you have to accept before the 25th in order from them not to delete your courses, but to be on the safe side, just accept it now. If they don't get your money by september 1st, then you'll have to be a late fee, which I think is 50$.
